Informative letter in accordance with the legislative decree of 30.06.2003 "Data protection code".

In accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, we INFORM you that GARBER s.r.l. processes the personal data of customers and suppliers as well as of persons who voluntarily provide us with their personal data (by telephone, fax or e-mail).

Our company guarantees, within the framework of the legal requirements, that the processing of personal data will take place with due regard to the fundamental rights and freedoms as well as the dignity of the person concerned, with particular reference to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to the protection of personal data.

Aims and purposes of data processing:

Fulfilment of legal obligations, obligations arising from regulations, Community norms and civil and fiscal laws.
Fulfilment of any contractual obligations towards the data subject.
Fulfilment of activities in connection with the business activity of our company such as the filling in of internal statistics, for invoicing as well as for the maintenance of customer/supplier accounting.
Business objectives such as the sending of business information and promotional material (by post, fax and e-mail), marketing and market research.
Protection of receivables and management of liabilities.

In relation to the objectives indicated above, your personal data will be communicated if necessary:

To the public administrations and authorities, if this is provided for by law.
To credit institutions with which our company has commercial relations for the management of receivables/payables and for financial intermediation.
To all those natural and/or legal persons, public and/or private (legal, administrative and tax consultancies, courts, chambers of commerce, etc.), when the communication proves necessary or useful for the performance of our activity, and in the manner and for the purposes indicated above.

The personal data processed by our agency are not subject to dissemination.

Execution of data processing

Data processing may be carried out with or without the aid of electronic or, in any case, automatic means and shall include all operations provided for in art. 4, paragraph 1, letter a of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and necessary for the processing in question. In any case, data processing will be carried out in compliance with all security measures that guarantee its security and confidentiality.

Rights of the data subject

The Data Protection Act gives data subjects the right to exercise certain rights in accordance with Art. 7; in particular, they have the right to know what personal data concerning them the holder holds and to obtain information as to whether or not they have such data, even if not yet recorded, and to know in an intelligible form details of such data, their origin and the purpose and purpose of their processing, as well as details of the holders and persons responsible for processing and persons and categories of persons to whom such data may be communicated. The data subject has the right to confirm and control, rectify and supplement his data, to request that the data be deleted, blocked and transformed into anonymous data in the event that the processing violates the law. He has the right to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of his data, in whole or in part, as well as their cancellation, blocking, transformation into anonymous data and without legitimate reason, if data are used for the purpose of commercial information, sending advertising material, direct sales, market research and opinion research.
